Frequently asked questions
-
What is a soda water dispenser? A soda water dispenser is a device designed to produce and dispense chilled sparkling or still water. It is used in hospitality venues, homes, offices, manufacturing facilities and public institutions. To operate, it requires a CO₂ cylinder and drinking water from the mains supply. You can then dispense fresh, cold sparkling water whenever you like!
-
What is the difference between a soda water dispenser and a post-mix system? A soda water dispenser primarily chills and carbonates water, while a post-mix system mixes syrups with sparkling or still water as drinks are dispensed. Each solution suits different needs depending on the type of establishment.
-
Can a soda water dispenser be connected to a standard mains water supply? Yes, soda water dispensers are typically designed to connect to the mains water supply. For the best drink quality, we recommend using water filtration to remove impurities and address water quality issues.
-
What maintenance does a soda water dispenser require? Maintenance includes regular sanitisation, checks of the filtration system and technical components, and keeping the unit free from dust and limescale. Proper maintenance ensures consistent water quality and hygienic operation. The water filter must be replaced at least once a year, although the quality of the incoming water may require more frequent replacement.
-
How cost-effective is a soda water dispenser to run? The running costs are straightforward: under typical usage conditions, including electricity, CO₂, water and filtration costs, one litre of freshly made sparkling water costs less than CZK 0.50.
